Anat Baniel

Anat Baniel is the protege of Moshe Feldenkrais, the legendary Israeli physicist widely regarded as a pioneer in understanding the mind-body connection and who developed the Feldenkrais Method. As Feldenkrais did, Baniel focused her Anat Baniel Method on self-awareness through movement, but where Baniel departs from Feldenkrais is in her attention to all aspects of the person: movement, feeling, emotion, and intellect and her explicit understanding of and practices for waking up the brain to perform in miraculous ways. Through her extensive research, her background in clinical psychology and creative expression dance, and decades of repeated success with clients in private practice and in workshops, Baniel has come to see true vitality as an expression of the brain's unique and natural tendency toward ever-greater complexity and refinement.

At the Anat Baniel Center in California, Baniel works with thousands of private clients every year, including conductor Seiji Osawa, pianist Leon Fleisher, dancers from the Joffrey Ballet, professional athletes, and people from all walks of life and of all ages.

She graduated cum laude from Jerusalem University with a bachelors degree in psychology and statistics and she holds a masters in clinical psychology from Tel Aviv University. For more information, please visit: www.anatbanielmethod.com
