Dr. John Friedewald

John Friedewald, MD, is the Medical Director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Princeton University and his MD from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He completed his residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also serves as a Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology and the Comprehensive Transplant Center. Dr. Friedewald is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, American Society of Transplantation, and the American College of Physicians.
