Henry Katinda


Henry Katinda was born in a remote village in Mayuge District, Eastern Uganda. He is a secondary school teacher, Children Advocate, and humanitarian with the passion aim of alleviating the plight of vulnerable children and the destitute in his community. He founded the EMPATHY CHILDREN INITIATIVE- UGANDA a fully registered community-based charitable non-profit organization in Mayuge District, Eastern Uganda to extend Children Advocacy, Education support, Housing, Feeding, and Medical care to Orphans, School Dropouts, abandoned children, and the vulnerable. EMPATHY CHILDREN INITIATIVE UGANDA also fosters educating Young girls on matters of Menstrual Health, Nutrition, HIV prevention methods, fighting teenage pregnancies, early marriages as well as encouraging them to stay in school.
