Josh & Nelly's Publishing is a family-owned business that strives to teach various growth-mindset themes through adventurous children's book stories encouraging young readers to think critically using Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) skills. Reading children's books to students is joyous, as she teaches young learners to read, narrate stories, and improve their comprehension skills. Ms. Telcide-Bryant believes that growing one's imagination proves that early intervention is essential for academic success. She continues, "I love it when children develop reading skills and become confident readers." Additionally, as a first-generation Haitian-American and bilingual English and Haitian Creole speaker, it's important to promote cultural sensitivity and provide optimal awareness of cultural diversity as a component of her writing. Ms. Telcide-Bryant's mission is to make a positive difference in young learners' lives by building their confidence and desire to learn new skills that they will use well into adulthood.
