Joanne VanderVies

Joanne VanderVies is a passionate and creative person. She has gone through various careers in the search to figure out unique aspects of who she is. She has incorporated many of these skills into her identity, however some roles stand out more than others. Her role as an aunt and Great Aunt is one that she is super passionate about. She is also a brain tumour survivor and she currently works as a nurse and a personal support worker. Joanne’s newest journey is as a host of the podcast called “The Sun Rises, Hope for a Bigger and Better Life.” These roles all highlight her passion for people and helping them in whatever way she can.
