Guest Profile

Nikki Hardman

Nikki grew up in South East London. She left school at 16 and had no real direction in her life. She got married at 22 and was a stay-at-home mum, volunteering in her children's school in Brixton, which was overflowing with children who were part of the 'gang culture' in one way or another, facing poverty and neglect. Nikki and her family moved to the Coast in 2001, and she began mentoring and educating in the childcare system. She met Mat Broster, and they became friends. For 20 years, she has worked in the homelessness sector, engaging with people suffering from drug/alcohol abuse, ex-offenders, and mental health issues, sourcing their support and accommodation. Nikki is passionate about helping those that society has cast aside and will fight tooth and nail to get these people the help and support they need and deserve.
