Rev. Connie Stomper Ed.D.

Dr. Connie Stomper earned a masters degree and doctorate in education and psychology from Columbia University in New York.

An ordained minister since 1983, she graduated from Peace Theological Seminary & College of Philosophy in Los Angeles with a Masters and Doctoral degree in Spiritual Science. The research on self and others that Connie did in this extraordinary program became the a core part of the workshops, counseling and writings described on her website, soulmusings.org. Her treatise, “My Life is For Me” is still alive as a profound approach to life and a powerful resource in her work with others.

Her commitment to individual and world peace and to greater loving on the planet has also taken her on journeys to over 30 countries around the world, 20 of which were led by John Roger, founder of MSIA. This interest in a cooperative world has motivated her involvement with organizations such as The Institute for Individual and World Peace and The Community Planet Foundation, whose training in consciousness of Community and consensus decision-making she co-created and co-facilitates.

She has been an organizational consultant and trainer, elementary school teacher, college instructor, and curriculum developer in a variety of organizational and academic settings. She has created workshops in areas such as team building, customer service, listening skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution and is certified in the Meyers-Briggs personality profile and in dispute resolution.

Having overcome serious health challenges, Connie has studied many forms of alternative and cutting edge medicine and often shares knowledge of enhancements to health in her holistic approach to counseling. Some of her spiritual awareness comes from a shared death experience when her mom transitioned into spirit and later a near death experience of her own.

For the past three years, she has hosted a daily intercessory prayer call based on a prayer for the world and there are now intercessory prayer calls in three other countries which she helped start and still supports.

Play, laughter, meditation and other sacred practices, keeping abreast of the world issues, hosting games parties, and deep engagement with friends are among her favorite ways to remember herself as a soul.
